Teach Sunday school: Oh, yeah. You can do it. We’ll equip you with what you need to share the Good News with God’s children of all ages. If you’re interested in helping with children or youth, contact Katie Reid at email@example.com. If you’d like to try to tell our adults something, contact Natasha Deal at firstname.lastname@example.org
Visit one of our older members: We don’t have that many older members, but we absolutely treasure the ones we have. Spend time with members who can’t always make it to church events. Contact David Murray at email@example.com to learn more.
Be a liturgist: Share your God story in front of the kindest crowd you will ever face, and inspire others with your testimony. Email Rev. Anne Russ at firstname.lastname@example.org to get involved.
Be a greeter or welcomer: Be the face of God for another person just walking into the building for the first time. Trainings happen about twice a year. Email Rachel Pinto at email@example.com you’re willing and able.
Tend the garden: We have a community garden that included “gleaning beds” for the community. If you’d like to help keep it going and growing, contact Rob Fisher at firstname.lastname@example.org.
All-Church Work Day: Two or three times a year we tend to seasonal needs of the buildings and grounds, deep clean, and make light repairs to our beloved but elderly building—new friendships, lunch, and disco music are side benefits for all who attend! Email Floyd Hicks email@example.com to get involved.
Ministry Teams: We have a number of ministry teams that help make all sorts of things happen in and outside of the church
- Christian Formation for Children and Youth
- Christian Formation for Adults
- Temple Care (aka Buildings and Grounds)
- Pastoral Care
