Advent for Children, Youth and Families at First Pres

Your family will have the opportunity to stuff stockings for children at the Vera Lloyd home. Stockings and the age and gender of the youth will be available at church on Sunday.

We’ll also be collecting donations for Christmas gifts for families at Seventh Street Elementary. Our youth will go shopping for the gifts and have a wrapping party (at a date to be determined).

Sunday, November 27

We will begin rehearsing during the Sunday School time for our Christmas program that we’ll be doing on Sunday, December 18 during worship. Your child will have a CD to take home that has the music on it so that they can practice.

Our scripture is about Daniel and the Lions Den, so we’re asking that all our kids bring any stuffed or toy lions that they have so we can build our own den.

The Advent Experience Prayer stations will begin in the fellowship hall. For kids of all ages and open throughout the week. Stations will change weekly throughout Advent.
