When it comes to the church and money, it’s not really about the money. It’s about how we view what we have, where it all comes from and how we should use it. It’s about our willingness to give and to share and about whether we live from a place of abundance or a place of scarcity.
If you are good with money, fundraising ideas, exploring our relationship with money or looking at ways to be good stewards of all of our resources (financial, spiritual and natural), perhaps the ministry of money is for you.
Lori Moore and Jim Haney, along with our church secretary Kay Patton, keep up with the nuts and bolts of our church finances and make sure the bills get paid, but money in the church is about more than that.
